Big Wins for Bianka Panova Academy at the Youth Cup 2018

Two First Place wins for the BPSAA team in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Bianka Panova Sport and Art Academy (BPSAA) romped off with major wins at the recent Youth Cup 2018 International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 21-24 June. The event was organised by the Youth Union Sport Center and had close to 100 participants coming from different parts of the world.

The big winners were: Rena Lim - 1st place Individual All Around in the 2009 category, Baby Meyer-Rochow - 1st place in the Mini 2012 category, Low Yu Yenn - 2nd place Individual All Around in the Junior 2003-2005 category, Annan Pan - 3rd place Individual All Around in the 2007 category, and Rhea Dhaliwall - 3rd place in the 2011 category.

“We are extremely proud of our girls’ performances at the competition. They were very strong and determined to perform their best in their respective categories. As their coach, it brings me pride and joy to see our students gain more experience, skills, and confidence in every competition we participate in, both locally and internationally,” shares Ms Bianka Panova, BPSAA Co-Founder and Head Coach, who accompanied the young athletes to Uzbekistan.

The Youth Cup 2018 is the 12th global competition joined by BPSAA since the academy’s founding in 2015.

Ms Panova is a nine-time World Champion in rhythmic gymnastics. To date, BPSAA has participated in 12 global competitions and has earned 43 gold medals, 38 silver medals, and 23 bronze medals.
